

Robert graduated from Woodbridge High School in Woodbridge,VA in 1993. Where he discovered his love for singing in the show choirs and acting in his theater class.Shortly, after graduating high school Robert enlisted in the United States Army and served two years from 1994-1996. He was a very vibrant and outgoing person. He could walk in a room and light it up with his smile and laughter and he was determined to make everyone feel special in his own special way. Robert was a true socialite at heart, and he enjoyed hosting dinner parties and was the life of the party and everyone enjoyed his great personality. His bold and unapologetic personality was infectious and empowering.He adored and enjoyed singing his favorite tunes and listening to his favorite girls Whitney Houston, Mariah Carey and Janet Jackson. Anyone who knew Rob knew his deep and passionate connection to Soap Operas, The Wiz and watching a good movie on Lifetime and there was never a dry eye in the room when watching a good movie with our favorite person we called “Rob”. He touched so many people with his loving and caring heart.
Robert was kind, intriguing and compassionate which led him to marry the love of his life Robert Weis on June 1, 2010 and they were inseparable and loved one another dearly.
Robert peacefully departed this life very unexpectedly and gained his wings on February 29, 2020. Gracing us all with his remarkable loving spirit.
There comes a time in life where we must say goodbye for now, so to you who are left to cherish my memories my husband Robert, Parents Robert Wofford Sr., and Betty Wofford, three sisters: Michelle (Emanuel) Eckwood of Michigan City, IN, Cynthia Latopa and Savanna Wofford of Harrodsburg, Kentucky, two brothers: Dennis Wofford of Harrodsburg, Kentucky and Christopher Bryant of Austin, Texas, 22 Nieces and Nephews and 10 Great-Nieces and Nephews. two brother-in-laws John Weis of Pittsburgh, PA and Mark Weis of Louisville, Kentucky and one sister-in-law Elizabeth(Jeffery) Schipani of Houston, Texas. And a host of Aunts and Uncles and cousins. “Special Cousins” Tonya Andrews, Tia Dantzler, Steve Gatewood Jr., Andre Andrews and Marcus Nance. Special Friends;Shawn, Ray, Jamie, Judy, Ross, Dave and Vishesh.
Robert was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents and his paternal grandparents.
