Sharon Gormley, age 73, of Cabin John, Maryland passed away on August 28, 2021. Sharon was born on February 17, 1948 in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. She was a farm girl raised in rural Central City, Iowa by her late parents Caroline and Josh Bowdish.
Beloved wife of Bill Gormley; devoted mother of late Stephanie and her three surviving children Matthew (wife Jennifer), Ashley (husband John), and Christopher.
She was a loving grandmother to her six grandchildren; Matty, Taylor, Aisley, Nikki, Dylan, and Austin; and her grandpup, Doba.
Sharon had a powerful spirit that will forever linger with those she knew and loved. She cherished time spent with family and friends, but especially treasured days on the sports fields cheering on her children and grandchildren.
She will be eternally missed by those who loved her.
