There are no words...she was sweet, kind and always gracious.  I hope that you all find peace in your loving memories of her and know that she will be beside you forever.  May you all find comfort in each other and those family and friends that surround you.


May the Lord  put his arms around you and give you comfort during this difficult time.  Traci was such a sweet person.

Dear Colonel Cook,

It is hard to express how shocked and sad we are about you losing your wife.  We must express how much we appreciate and admire your steadfast devotion to your family. We understand that this gesture won't heal the wounds of your loss but we send them as an expression of our respect to you as a husband and father. We are grateful for your commitment to developing us not just as officers but as men. You both taught and modeled the importance of family balance for us and we gladly followed. Our sincere hope is that you show the resilience to carry on with your fondest memories of Traci inspiring you to continue to lead your family. While we can't imagine how you are feeling in this moment but we stand by to support you in whatever way we can wherever we are.

I’m so sorry to hear of your loss.  I want to send my condolences and prayers to the family, friends and loved ones of Ms. Cook.  I wish you peace and comfort as you grieve.

To the family of Traci Cook, 

I just wanted to send along a short note about the wonderful woman that Traci was. 

I have had the wonderful privilege of working with Traci for a little over a year now. Each time that I came to her with questions, she always practiced the utmost patience and grace... especially when she needed to restore entire webpages that I had somehow messed up. 

Given her personality alone, I think that she is deserving of Sainthood. But, given that she managed to get hundreds of people (many over the age of 50) on a whole new level of technological expertise, I think she deserves some sort of elevated status because that truly is a miracle. 

The immense sadness felt by her immediate team is just a shadow of the gaping hole she will leave in our workforce. I will miss her so incredibly much, but I know that I won't have to look far to see the fingerprints of Traci. Her roots were truly deep and wide. 

Thank you for sharing her with us, and know that we will be praying for her soul and for you.

We were extremely saddened to hear the shocking news. Our prayers, thoughts and hugs are with the entire family. When we think of Traci, we smile; she had an amazing personality. Gus knew her longer than me, but I felt I knew her for years, she always made me felt like we were forever friends. I want to let her family know that every time she talked  of them, her eyes lighted up. We still in disbelief.
