Jakob Noe

Jakob was born on December 7, 1936 in Yugoslavia to the late Jakob and Elizabeth Noe. He was a carpenter in the Building and Maintenance Dept. for the LIRR, retiring after 25 years of service. He was a member of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Monroe and was the past Grand Master of the Masons Lessing Lodge in Queens. He was a loving father, grandfather and great grandfather and will be deeply missed by his family and friends.

Jakob is survived by his beloved children, Norbert and his wife Eleanor Noe, Karen and her husband Vinny Sommese and Linda and her husband Salvatore Ferraro; loving grandchildren, Alissa Szigethy, Shannon Stevens, Erica Galin, Brooke Noe, Lisa Schaefer, Holly Ferraro, Samantha Ferraro, Stephanie Ferraro and Sal Ferraro and his adoring great grandchildren, Joshua Szigethy, Landon Szigethy, Xavier Szigethy, Logan Stevens, Calista Stevens and Brilyn Galin.

Visitation will be held on Monday, December 1, 2014 from 2-4 & 7-9 pm at the DAVID T. FERGUSON FUNERAL HOME, 20 North St., Washingtonville, NY. Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 am on Tuesday, December 2nd also at the Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Washingtonville Cemetery, Washingtonville, NY.
