John H. Lockwood Jr.

John was born in Dobbs Ferry, NY on May 13, 1936 to John H. Lockwood Sr and Anasthasia (Korasch) Lockwood. He was the husband of Regina A. (Rehak) Lockwood.

John was a volunteer fireman for 25 years with the Protection Engine Co. No. 1 in Hastings-on-Hudson and worked as a QC Engineer for Hudson Wire. A Veteran he served in the US Army 101 SIG BN.

He is survived by his loving wife, Regina Lockwood of 56 years; Son, Eugene Lockwood and his wife Peggy; Sister, Doris Barticciotto and his 2 sister-in-laws, Marie Lockwood and Monica Olexson; 3 grandchildren, Eugene and his wife Renee Lockwood, Sean and Christine Lockwood; three nephews, two nieces, three great nieces and four great nephews. John was predeceased by his son Glenn Michael Lockwood and brother Bruce Garrett Lockwood.

Visitation will be Monday, March 31 from 2-4 & 7-9pm at Cargain Funeral Home, 418 US Route 6, Mahopac, New York 10541, (845) 628-5655. Services will be held in the funeral home Tuesday, April 1 at 10am. Burial will immediately follow in the Ballard Barrett Cemetery, Mahopac Falls, NY.
