Kevin E Cooney of Washingtonville, NY passed away at home on January 16th, 2023. He was born on February 22, 1955 to Robert and Marion (Scully) Cooney, in Manhattan, NY. He was married to his beautiful wife Colleen Cooney, for 31 years. Kevin loved watching sports, spending time with family, camping, and Lake George.
Kevin is cherished by his children Benjamin Magurno, Tara Cooney (Jordan O’Connor), Mary Cooney (Marc Ewing), and Helene Cooney (Joshua Bollander), adored grandchildren Ryan, Kyleigh, and Christopher Magurno, Lucas and Owen Bollander, and Jameson and Hudson O’Connor. Kevin is survived by his sister Mary Krawec (Pablo Krawec) and sister in law Carol Clark (Thomas Clark jr). Beloved by his friend Deborah Mctamaney. Kevin was predeceased by his brothers Thomas Cooney (Patrica Cooney) and Daniel Cooney.
A visitation for Kevin will be held Saturday, January 21, 2023 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM at David T Ferguson Funeral Home, 20 North Street, Washingtonville, NY 10992. A prayer service will occur Saturday, January 21, 2023 at 4:30 PM, 20 North Street, Washingtonville, NY 10992. A cremation will be private will occur.
