Livia "Cookie" Connaughton

Livia “Cookie” Connaughton, 77 of New Windsor, New York, passed away on April 6, 2021.Cookie was born in New York, N.Y. on November 16, 1943 to Edmund and Sadie ( Benintendi) Aversano. Cookie graduated from Lafayette High School. Cookie was married to John C. Connaughton on September 14, 1991. Cookie worked at Staples distribution warehouse in Montgomery, New York for over 20 years. Cookie had passion for singing, dancing and everything ELVIS. Cookie was predeceased by her devoted husband John. Cookie is survived by her beloved children Francine O’Brien of Milford, PA, Edmond O’Brien and his wife Jennifer of Blooming Grove, NY. Loving Grandmother to Michael, Jack and Finn O’Brien. Cherished sister to Fran Pehowich ( husband Walter). Visitation will be on Friday April 9 from 5-9 pm at David T Ferguson Funeral Home, 20 North Street, Washingtonville, NY. Mass of Christian Burial will be on Saturday April 10, 10:00 am at St. Mary’s Church, 42 Goshen Avenue, Washingtonville. Burial to follow at St. Mary’s Cemetery, 2 Fr.
