Michael McGuiness was taken from us way too soon at the young age of 21 on Monday May 29th 2017. Michael “Mugsy” McGuiness was born July 21st 1995 at Horton Hospital in Middletown New York to his mother Maria Giuttari and biological father Michael McGuiness. He grew up in Washingtonville New York and also spent a great deal of time in Stony Point with his father and dad who raised him Robert Knapp. Mugsy loved anything to do with riding dirt bikes and four wheelers and loved working on his cars specifically Hondas.
Michael is predeceased by his maternal grandfather Biagio Giuttari and his paternal uncle Tommy Collins. Is survived by his mother Maria Giuttari and stepfather Harold Johnson Jr. of Washingtonville NY biological father Michael McGuiness of Stony Point NY his four sisters Jesse Knapp, Sarah Knapp, Casey Knapp, and Eva Sullivan and his brother and best friend Dalton McGuiness as well as many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held at David T. Ferguson Funeral Home, 20 North Street, Washingtonville, NY 10992 on Sunday, June 4th, 2017 from 2-4 and 7-9pm with an 8pm prayer service that evening. A private committal will follow.
