Rudolph "Rudy" Stevens

Rudolph “Rudy” J. Stevens, Jr, 83, 0f Campbell Hall, NY, entered into eternal rest on January 21. 2018 with his loved ones at his side. Rudy was born on February 7, 1934 in Nyack, New York. Son of Rudolph and Helen (Hobesil) Stevens.

Rudy was a devoted husband, father and grandfather. He was a skilled craftsman and owned his owned carpentry business. He is survived by his beloved wife Loretta of 61 years.

Devoted father to Michael & Sandy Stevens of Campbell Hall, NY, Mary & Gary Marina of Greentown, PA, Terry & Susan Stevens of Hawley, PA and Daniel & Melissa Stevens of Middletown, NY. Cherished grandfather of 11 grandchildren. Loving brother to Veronica Lacker of New City, NY & Margaret Grunwald of Hermitage, TN. Rudy was a member of St. Mary’s Church in Washingtonville and served as a Eucharistic Minister at St. Augustine’s Parish in New City, NY. Rudy was a passionate dog lover and avid sports fan. “He will be greatly missed”, Visitation will be Thursday Jan. 25 4pm-8pm at David T. Ferguson Funeral Home, 20 North Street, Washingtonville, NY. Mass of Christian Burial will be Friday Jan. 26, 11:30am at St. Mary’s Church, 42 Goshen Avenue, Washingtonville, NY. Interment will be private and at the convenience of the family.
