Her ministry began at Notre Dame at a very young age where she sang in the children’s choir, sang the Latin masses as a young woman, and ultimately directed the adult choir for many years. As a member of the Diocesan Liturgical Council during the mid-seventies, she was instrumental in developing music workshops with composers of sacred music that would enrich the liturgies throughout the diocese for years to come. She also displayed her vocal talent in the Waterville theatre community beginning as a young girl in French plays and throughout her adult life. She will be most remembered for her role as Mother Abbess in "The Sound of Music" and for her rendition of "Climb Every Mountain."
