Timothy Dowd

Jack grew up in the Concord, NH area before moving to Maine in 2015, and was a resident of Unity for the past 2 years.

After working various jobs in the Portland area for a few years, Jack took a leap of faith, and drove cross-country to Northern California where he spent six months with a childhood best friend expanding his knowledge within the Cannabis industry. Jack then returned to Maine to pursue his dreams of becoming a caregiver, and established a business alongside his longtime friend, Bert Schaper. Jack’s sole purpose in life was to help others, and despite the many hurdles he faced, he persevered without ever losing sight of that purpose.

Jack had a way about him that left a lasting impression on anyone he crossed paths with. His smile and presence would light up any space he entered. Jack’s love for his family, friends, and dog, Stella, was unmeasurable. If you were lucky enough to see Jack over the past several years, he likely had Stella right by his side.

Jack is predeceased by his father, Douglas Dowd, along with his grandparents both paternal and maternal. He is survived by his mother and stepfather, Lori and Larry Buchanan, sister, Mary Dowd, brother and sister-in-law, Lee and Laura Bassett, two nieces and one nephew. Uncles include Mike and Tim Dowd. He is also survived by many cousins.

A graveside service will be held July 16 th, 2022, at 10.00am located at Francestown Cemetery #3, 2nd New Hampshire Turnpike South Francestown NH 03043. All are welcome to attend. The burial will be followed by a celebration of life; details are to be determined, and will be announced at a later date.
