Eugene F. Piscopink

Eugene F. “Udge” Piscopink passed away April 23, 2018 at the age of 90. Loving husband of the late Barbara Ann. Beloved Pop of Thomas (Toni), Deborah (William) Halsey, Timothy (Ann), Roberta, Eugene D. (Nancy), and the late Greg. Cherished grandfather of Tamara (Tim), Tracie (John), Craig, Gregory (Jennifer), Stacy (Tad), Julie (the late Kenny), Jill, Jody (James), Crystal, Taylor, Kyle, and the late Trevor William. Great-grandfather of Gregory III, Lauren, Trevor, Cole, Max, Ella, Dylan, Kyler, Taya, Kiera, Jace, Aydan, and Christian. Great-great-grandfather of Mckenzie and Sophia.

Eugene was a Hall of Fame Athlete at Wayne Memorial High School. A mural of him can be seen on the outside of the State Wayne Theater. He retired from the Wayne County Road Commission where he worked as an electrician for many years. Eugene had a way of touching the lives of those he met and knew. He was loved by many and will be dearly missed.

Visitation Sunday, April 29 from 2-8pm, with a Rosary at 7pm, at Harry J. Will Funeral Home 34567 Michigan Avenue in Wayne. Funeral Mass Monday, April 30 at 11am, in state at 10:30am, at St. Mary Catholic Church 34530 Michigan Avenue in Wayne. In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made towards children’s cancer research.
