Jeffrey Scott Lindsey

On March 28, 2014 Jeffrey Scott Lindsey completed his long and valiant fight against cancer and went home to be with his Lord. Jeff will be greatly missed by his loving and devoted wife Cathleen Mary Lindsey. Jeff is the father of Cody and Rachel and step-father of Andrew and Darrell Belleba.

Jeff grew up in Livonia Michigan where some of his fondest memories were the times he and his friends built wooden rafts and floated down the Rouge River in Hines Park on hot summer afternoons. Jeff graduated from Churchill High School and went to Schoolcraft Community College where he earned his certification as a mechanic.

A skilled diesel mechanic for 31 years, Jeff loved to read historical fiction novels, watch movies and play online computer games. He enjoyed his two pet dogs and five cats. Jeff found it relaxing to work in his yard and garden or on projects around the house. He had a dry yet wonderful sense of humor and was quick to play a practical joke or make fun of himself.

Family and friends will gather at Harry J. Will Funeral home on Wednesday, April 2nd, 2014 beginning at 2:00 PM to celebrate Jeff’s life. A Memorial Service will begin at 4:00 PM. Harry J. Will Funeral Home is located at 34567 Michigan Ave., Wayne MI 48184.
