I was Thelmas most recent housekeeper for the last 3 months. Always loved to come and see her, sometimes just to check on her. Her smiling face was an inspiration , we became good friends and I will truly miss her.❤️❤️

Sitek Family,
I am a server at Waltonwood Cherry Hill and have had the privilege to grow a personal relationship and connection with Thelma. She was always the sweetest person and I always went out of my way to have a conversation with her to hear about her day and how wonderful she talked about her family. Thelma was hands down one of my favorite residents and she often reminded me that I was her favorite server. I would hangout in her room and we would just talk about anything and everything. Especially during quarantine, Thelma and I talked during meal delivery and I made sure she would get everything she asked for (and some more). She would always tell me when she was getting her hair done all pretty at “doctor appointments” and we would both laugh. I give my condolences to the Sitek family, Thelma was a true angel full of love and care. I, and the Waltonwood community, will miss Thelma and her grand smile. It truly doesn’t feel the same without her and even still, I expect to see her face full of joy. It will be hard to adjust to her absence. My love to her and your family. I am truly thankful I had the opportunity to be apart of Thelma’s life and most importantly to have her in mine.
With love,
Christian Lopez

Sherri & Stu,
I am so sorry for your loss. Though I never met Thelma, I enjoyed hearing about what she was up to from Sherri during Book Club. It’s heartbreaking to lose a loved one. All the library staff involved with book club have you in their thoughts.

A lovely lady, who was warm and caring.
I will always have warm memories of you visiting me and my family in England .
I have also enjoyed visiting you at your home when in USA and staying and spending time with you. The last time was with David my son.

Thelma was such a joyful and imaginative person. I enjoyed all her emails and jokes throughout the year and she will be dearly missed.
She always had something comical to say when we had family gatherings. I totally enjoyed our little talks at those events.
Rest In Peace dear Thelma!
