Amy Marie Mays

Amy Marie Mays, 42, of Waynesboro passed away on Sunday, March 3, 2019 at her residence. She was born in Charlottesville on February 25, 1977, a daughter of the late Clarence Calvin, Jr. and Janice Josephine (Duff) Gregory.

Amy greatly enjoyed listening to country music, watching TV and playing with her pets.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her grandparents, Clarence Calvin, Sr. and Helen Virginia Gregory, Joseph and Loraine Mae Duff; and sister, Kelly Loraine Gregory.

Left to cherish her memory are her children, Dustin Gregory and girlfriend, Carmen and Shalyndria Gregory and boyfriend, Shane Walker; sister, Cherry Lynn Duff; aunts, Wanda Campbell and husband, Arthur and Joyce Roney and boyfriend, Tony Lucido; uncle, Richard Duff and wife, Phyllis; special cousin, Chris Harlow; special friend, Fred William Quick; the Gregory family; a host of additional aunts, uncles, and cousins; as well as extended family and friends.

Amy also leaves behind her four-legged friends, KeKe, Boo, Neaveh and Coco.

A funeral service will be conducted at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday, March 7, 2019 at the Waynesboro Chapel of Reynolds Hamrick Funeral Homes with Rev. Clayton Payne officiating. Inurnment will take place on Wednesday, March 13, 2019 at 2:00 p.m. at Augusta Memorial Park, 1775 Goose Creek Rd., Waynesboro.

The family will receive friends following the service at the funeral home.
