Beulah Juanita Painter

She was born January 16, 1943 in Augusta County, daughter of the late Charles Andrew and Ethel McCray Flesher.

Mrs. Painter was a member of Lyndhurst United Methodist Church and was retired from American Safety Razor. She was a loving, caring and devoted wife, mother, grandmother and sister.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Berlie “Dickie” Painter; one grandson, Nicholas Botkin; one brother, William Ona Flesher and one sister, Betty Lou Lucas.

Survivors include one son, Chris Painter and wife Michelle of Stuarts Draft; one step-daughter, Roxie Wine and husband Daniel of Crimora; two sisters, Mary Fitzgerald and Nancy Louise Pleasants, both of Waynesboro; two brothers, Russell Flesher of Stuarts Draft and Roger Dale Flesher and wife Nellie of Lyndhurst; grandchildren, Andrew Fix Bradley Painter, Melissa Wilson, Jeremy Wine and Stacey Butcher; and five great-grandchildren. She is also survived by a number of nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends from 6 to 8:00 p.m. Sunday, November 3, 2013 at Reynolds Hamrick Funeral Homes of Waynesboro and other times at the residence of her son, 504 China Clay Road, Stuarts Draft, VA.

A service will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Monday, November 4, 2013 in the Waynesboro Chapel of Reynolds Hamrick Funeral Homes with Pastor Daniel Wine officiating. Burial will follow at Augusta Memorial Park.

Active pallbearers will be Roger Flesher, Nip Flesher, Andrew Fix, Leroy Shifflett, Tommie Okeefe and Eddie Critzer.
