He was the son of the late Jean Wilson Painter, Jr., and the surviving Joan Painter. Bobby was a lifelong resident of Waynesboro and was employed by Accutec Blades in Verona.
In addition to his mother, Bobby is survived by a son, Connor; a daughter, Haley; a sister, Brenda, as well as numerous extended family members and friends.
There will be no formal viewing or visitation at the funeral home.
A graveside service will be held on Friday, August 13, 2021 at 10 AM at Augusta Memorial Park with Pastors Levi Smith and John Smith officiating.
The family will receive visitors at the home of his mother.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests all memorial contributions be made to the Staunton Augusta Rescue Squad, 1601 N. Coalter St., Staunton, VA 24401.
