Charles "Danny" Humphries

He was born December 17, 1952 a son of the late Paul Gilmore and Mary Clark Humphries.

He was a U. S. Army veteran and retired from UPS.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by an infant son, Timothy Humphries; brother, Tommy Humphries; and a sister, Patricia Clark.

Survivors include his wife, Pam Wimer Humphries, a son, Gary Eavey and wife Tabitha of Afton, a daughter, Jennifer Humphries of Waynesboro, two grandchildren; Daniel Viar, Skyler Eavey, two nieces; Dawn and Cheryl, and a nephew Tommy Humphries.

He also leaves a sister-in-law, Peggy Humphries and a special little friend, Owen Hall of which he considered a grandson.

A service will be held 11:00 AM Friday, March 20, 2015 at the Waynesboro Chapel of Reynolds Hamrick Funeral Homes by Chad Grondin.

Burial will follow at Augusta Memorial Park with military rites provided by American Legion Post 340.

Active pallbearers will John Farrish, Rob Telso, Mike Lowe, Harold Craig, David Fitzgerald, Steve Johnson, Bubba Toth and Hector Medina.

The family will receive friends from 6-8:00 PM Thursday, March 19, 2015 at the funeral home.
