

Born May 27, 1943 in Staunton, he was a son of the late Charles Raymond and Sarah Margaret (Wiseman) Perry. On March 10, 1963 he married Patricia Ann Gibson. The two shared 62 wonderful years of marriage.
Prior to retirement, Curtis was employed by the DuPont Company, Waynesboro, where he was a faithful employee for over 30 years. He was a graduate of the Biblical Studies program at Liberty University. Curtis was a U.S. Army veteran having served his country honorable and have risen to the rank of SGT. He enjoyed working with his hands to make things for family and friends. There wasn’t anything he couldn’t fix or make. Through the years, Curtis and his wife raised and cared for many animals. They had peacocks, African chickens, emus, Japanese pheasants, goats, chickens, and his favorite a pot belly pig. He will be remembered as a loving husband, devoted father, and proud grandfather and great-grandfather.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Donna McQuain.
Survivors include his loving wife, Patricia Perry of Fishersville; children, David Perry and wife, Rebecca, of Fishersville, Rebecca Perry of Fishersville, and Bruce Perry and wife, Penny, of Fishersville; three grandchildren, Tiffany, Dereck, and Emily; six great-grandchildren, MacKenzie, Natalie, Grace, Caroline, Lydia, and Amelia; brother, JD Perry; and several nieces and nephews.
Following cremation, a private family service will be held.
