Daniel Ryan Lee

Mr. Lee was born on January 27, 1984 in Petersburg and was a son of the late Jesse Mark Griffin and surviving Roberta Ann (Stigall) Lee. Danny graduated from ECPI with a degree in electrical engineering. While in school he was on the Dean’s List and in the National Honor Society. He was currently employed with Accutec Blades in Verona. Danny saw his life as a journey. He lived everyday as an adventure. Some days were fun, and others were not. Danny also competed as a backyard wrestler. He was the HERO of the family.

In addition to his mother, Danny is survived by his kids, Corey Patterson of Chester, VA, Tiara Wood of Kingsland, GA; siblings, Terry Foster and wife Cecelia of Coudersport, PA, Samantha Collins of Tampa, FL, Randy Lewis of Richmond, VA , Joshua Perkins of Chester, VA, Christian Harris of Las Vegas, NV; sister wife, Carole Palazzo; stepfather and mentor, Denzil Lewis; maternal grandmother, Anna C. Stigall; paternal grandparents Mark and Gail Griffin; uncles, Robert E. Stigall, Jr, Thomas R. Stigall, Jason Griffin, Jeffrey Griffin; nieces and nephews, Chance, Jadien, Jersey, Alex, Aiden, Nathan, Cameron, Chi Qui, Amanda; a cousin, Robbie; two cousins who considered him to be their brother, Shannon Bland, Anna Mullinex; and two very close friends, Doza and Easy. He was also preceded in death by a sister, Nikki Taylor in 2018 and his grandfather, Robert E. Stigall, Sr.

The family would like to extend a sincere THANK YOU to the close friends and family of co-workers on the maintenance staff at AccuTec Blades in Verona for all of their care and kindness during Danny’s illness.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
