Dannie Lee Zimmerman

Danny Lee Zimmerman, 64, of Waynesboro, Virginia, died at his home on Chestnut Avenue, on Monday, July 29, 2013. Danny was born in Waynesboro, on July 11, 1949, to Mr. George B. Zimmerman and Mrs. Janice Lee Zimmerman. Danny is survived by a son, David Lee Zimmerman and his wife, Connie, of Lyndhurst; two grandchildren, Tyler Scott Zimmerman, his wife, Brittani, and Madison McKenna Zimmerman; his brother, Tony Zimmerman; his sister, Mrs. Diane Harlow and husband, Roy, of Waynesboro; as well as several nieces and nephews. Danny was preceded in death by his father, Mr. George B. Zimmerman; as well as a devoted sister, Mrs. Patsy Zimmerman Fisher. Danny was a skilled craftsman and a gifted baker. Reynolds Funeral Home provided the cremation services and Danny will be buried during a private burial, in a family plot at Riverview Cemetery, Waynesboro. Danny's son, David, would like to invite friends and family wishing to pay their respects or share memories of Danny to join him and family at his home on Saturday, August 10, 2013, from 6 until 8 p.m., 1815 Mount Torrey Road, Lyndhurst.
