
Dennis Grey Guyer, 59, of Tinkling Spring Road, Staunton went to be with his Heavenly Father on Sunday, March 4, 2012 at the University of Virginia Medical Center. His Faith Became Sight. His life was his firm belief in Jesus Christ, his wife, his children and family.
He was born February 18, 1953 in Waynesboro, son of the late David E. Guyer and Irene Guyer Armstrong.
Dennis was a member of Crossroads Baptist Church and for 30 years was an Electrican and Carpenter at W.W.R.C.
Survivors include his wife, Beth Guyer; two sons, Chris Guyer and wife Betty of Sherando, Chad Guyer and wife Emily of Fishersville; brother, Gary Guyer and wife Sarah of Staunton; sister, Bonnie Hinkle and husband Gary of Florida; sister-in-law, Kathy Arey of Waynesboro; mother-in-law, Virginia Cook of Waynesboro; nephews, Mark and Greg Guyer and Lee Kidd: niece, Denise Arey. He is also survived by his beloved companion Rascal.
The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday, March 7, 2012 at Reynolds Hamrick Funeral Homes of Waynesboro.
A service will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, March 8, 2012 at Crossroads Baptist Church with Pastor Bill Johnson officiating. Burial will follow at Augusta Memorial Park.
Active pallbearers will be Mark and Greg Guyer, Lee Kidd, Stan Hodge, Alan Powers and Jessie Smith.
