Donald F. Haynes

Don was born May 31, 1938 in Charleston, West Virginia the son of the late Cecil and Ruth Cavenger Haynes.

He was a member of Westwood Baptist Church and retired as an automobile salesman.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Dale Haynes.

Survivors include his wife, Carolyn P. Haynes, three sons; Christopher Donald Haynes of Amsterdam, Marcus Todd Haynes (Jennifer), Brian Derek Haynes (Myrna) both of Waynesboro, a brother, John Haynes of Lynchburg, five grandchildren; Derek, Christan, Nikolas, Sidney and Charlie.

A funeral service will be held 11:00 AM Friday, September 28, 2012 at the Waynesboro Chapel of Reynolds Hamrick Funeral Homes by the Rev. George Polhill. Burial will follow in Riverview Cemetery.

Active pallbearers will be Chris, Marty, Brian Haynes, Jerry Furr, Fred Smith and Jimmy Swanson.

Honorary pallbearers will be friends attending the service.

The family will receive friends from 7-8:00 PM Thursday, September 27, 2012 at the funeral home and also at the residence of his son, Brian, of 434 S. Poplar Ave., Waynesboro at anytime.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the Waynesboro Chapel of Reynolds Hamrick Funeral Homes and Crematory.
