

She was born to the late Oliver Clinton and Elizabeth (Cook) Foley on May 11, 1936.
Esther retired from the former GE/ Genicom of Waynesboro.
She was an active member of Blue Ridge Church of the Brethren where she sang in the church choir and directed the children’s choir.
In her spare time she enjoyed working puzzles, crocheting, gardening and eating out.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, James “Buck” Morris; brother, Carlton Foley and a sister, Gilda Foley Hupp.
Survivors include several nieces and nephews; Raymond Hupp (Karen), Tim Hupp, Susan Hupp Morris, Sharon Hupp Boles (Danny), John Morris, David Morris (Donna), Lynn Coffman (Bobby), Carter Morris, Jake Morris, Sylvia Morris, Sandra Cunningham (Tim), Sid Clark (Gail) and Robert (Robin) Clark.
A graveside service will be held at 9:30 a.m. on Tuesday, April 14, 2026 at Augusta Memorial Park, followed by a memorial service at 11:00 a.m. at Blue Ridge Chapel Church of the Brethren with Pastor Mike Woods officiating. A meal will be provided following the memorial service where all are welcome.
Active pallbearers will be Bob Coffman, Mike Coffman, John Morris, David Morris, Lee Hutchinson and James Coffman.
Those wishing to attend the graveside service may meet directly at the cemetery. Active pallbearers are asked to meet at the cemetery at 9:00 a.m. also on the day of the service.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Monday, April 13, 2026 at the Waynesboro Chapel of Reynolds Hamrick Funeral Homes.
