Gladys Vernell Fisher Morris 98, formerly of Bradley Ln died at 4:45 am Sunday November 23, 2014 at Shenandoah Nursing Home in Fishersville.She was born in Albemarle County on July 27, 1916 a daughter of the late George W. and Agnes Craig Fisher.She was a homemaker and a member of Smyrna Presbyterian Church.In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Wilbur H. “Derby” Morris, a son, Roger Lee Morris, a daughter, Jean Delorse Conner, a brother, Peter S. Fisher, three sisters; Bettie Morris, Marie Coleman and Geraldine Fisher.Survivors include two grandchildren; Kathy Galloway and husband Don, Kenny “Buster” Conner and three great-grandchildren.A graveside service will be held 10:00 am Wednesday November 26, 2014 at Augusta Memorial Park by Pastor Gary Major.The family will receive friends from 6-8:00 pm Tuesday November 25, 2014 at the Waynesboro Chapel of Reynolds Hamrick Funeral Homes.In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Smyrna Presbyterian Church.Family and friends are invited to share a memory, send condolences and sign the guest book by visiting www.reynoldshamrickfuneralhomes.com
