Guy served in the United States Navy, worked at Paul Freed Ford, Waynesboro Nurseries and NAPA in Waynesboro. His passion was the Blue Ridge Mountains, long distances motorcycle trips and women.
Survivors include one son, Glen Wesley Towler, daughter in law, Wendy Helmick Towler; grandson, Steele Wesley Towler of Stuarts Draft; one daughter, Tina Marie Towler Lee, son-in-law, Frederick "Fred" Lee; grandson, Joshua William Towler Lee; granddaughter, Stevie Marie Lee, all of Virginia Beach; one sister, Wilma Lea Towler Taylor; and brother, David Ray Towler, both of Waynesboro.
Deep within the still center of my soul, may I find peace. Silently within the quiet of the morn, may I share peace. Gently and powerfully, within the greater circle of humankind, may I radiate peace. We miss and love you Daddy.
A memorial service will be conducted 2 p.m. Sunday, March 4, 2012, at the Waynesboro Chapel of Reynolds Hamrick Funeral Homes.
