
Harry J. Stidham
Harry J. Stidham, 101, of Waynesboro, passed away on Saturday April 13, 2013 at Augusta Health.
Mr. Stidham was born on December 1, 1911 in Wilmington, Delaware and was a son of the late Frank C. and Flowreen (Larkin) Stidham. Harry retired from DuPont in 1975 after 42 years of service. He was a United States Navy veteran serving during World War II and was active in the Boy Scouts and American Legion.
He was preceded in death by his first wife, Eleanor G. Stidham; stepson, Michael S. Williamson; and brothers-in-law, Kermit R. Powers, James B. Harris; and sister-in-law Louise P. Harris. He is survived by his wife, Judie P. Stidham; stepson and daughter-in-law Paul G. Williamson and Jennifer L. Pike; granddaughters Pritha N. Williamson and Charlotte K. Williamson; in-laws, Janie and Gary Palmer, Loraine and William Powers, Barbara and Rufus Powers, Linda Berry, Terry Powers, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Harry was a person well-loved and liked by all. He was a special person who saw the good in others. He will be missed, especially by his family.
There will be a private memorial service held at a later date. Friends and family may visit the home at any time.
