Born June 12, 1935 in Cidra, Puerto Rico, she was the daughter of the late Juan and Luisa Llera Santos.
Irma greatly enjoyed spending time with her family, playing bingo and going for walks.
Survivors include her husband, Nicolas Malave; daughter, Dianne Rasile and husband, John of Waynesboro; and two grandchildren, Justin and Lindsey Rasile.
Following cremation, there will be no formal services or viewing.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Blue Ridge Area Food Bank, 96 Laurel Hill Road, Verona, VA 24482.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Reynolds Hamrick Funeral Homes of Waynesboro.
