Born September 28, 1948, he was the son of the late Lloyd T. and Elsie M. Stockman Gibson.
Survivors include his loving wife of 36 years, Lynn Gibson; children, Michael Gibson and wife Michelle of Waynesboro, Lisa Gibson Gillespie and husband Mark of West Augusta and Faye Chittum and husband Charles of Waynesboro; as well as a number of grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Following cremation, the family will receive friends from 6:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. on Thursday, November 1, 2012 at the Waynesboro Chapel of Reynolds Hamrick Funeral Homes. All remaining services will be private.
