Jane Margaret Ralston

Born July 15, 1947 in Seattle, Washington, she was the daughter of the late Richard C. and Margaret (Quarnstrom) Collins.

Ms. Ralston was a member of Bethany Lutheran Church, Waynesboro. She belonged to the LEARN organization in which she was trained to help people read. In her spare time, she enjoyed spending time with family and friends, reading, cooking, traveling and her animals. Jane will be remembered as a vibrant and loving woman who cherished her family and friends.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by husband, Wade Allen Ralston.

Survivors include her children, Richard M. Simpson of Waynesboro, Rachel J. Simpson and partner Joan Juckins of Waynesboro and Marc Ralston and wife Jean of Michigan; grandchildren, Emily Simpson, Nicolas Ralston and Alexander Ralston; Aunt Patty Danner of Clifton, NJ; as well as many friends and family.

Following her wishes of being cremated, a memorial service will be held at 5:00 P.M. on Monday, November 28, 2011 at Bethany Lutheran Church, 100 Maple Avenue, Waynesboro, with Pastor Tim Bohlmann officiating.

The family will receive friends following her service at the church with a light reception.
