

She was born January 25, 1928, a daughter of the late William E. and Ethel Virginia (Obaugh) Coffey.
She retired as a Staff Educator from the former Waynesboro Community Hospital.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Melvin S. Critzer.
Survivors include her son, Gary Critzer and wife, Jennifer of Waynesboro; four grandsons, Derek Critzer, Tyler Critzer, Garett Critzer, and Schuyler Critzer.
She also leaves her long time friend who was like a daughter to her, Marion Grubb.
A graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, December 2, 2024 at Riverview Cemetery with Pastor Ryan Oswald officiating.
There will be no public viewing or visitation at the funeral home.
Those wishing to attend the service may meet directly at the cemetery on the day of the service.
The family would like to extend special thanks to the staff at Waynesboro Manor for all of the love and care they gave to “Momma Jean” during her stay and to her hospice nurse Kim Lowery from Augusta Health Hospice.
The Waynesboro Chapel of Reynolds Hamrick Funeral Homes has been entrusted with arrangements.
