Jeremy my boy.. Rest easy brother.. I just wish, you would have reached out to me.. I'll never forget, my first year of football in 8th grade and having to go against you. You were bigger than me at the time and even had the cowboy collar to boot. Super intimated. But going against you made me stronger. We weren't close in High School until we were upperclassmen but the bond we formed then was strong and everlasting. I remember back in 2007 when we would bench press in your parents basement, racing to see who could hit 300lb first! I had you! I put up 285 and your PR was still 270. But then I broke my arm in the park that Sunday playing tackle football, haha. You drove me to AMC in your blue Jeep with the lift kit. We walked in and you casually say 'Yea, my buddy broke his arm'. I still look at your profile when I sign into battle.net, expecting to see you've been on recently.. Love you bro. See you on the other side..

We have so many fond memories of Jeremy—I don’t know where to begin.  The mouse incident (probably my favorite), his attempt at gardening (despite some minor flooding there was an abundance of peppers that year),  practically holding my hand with patience to guide me through every technological issue and question I had, and many others Nathan and I will always look back on with a smile. I think the one that truly showed his character was how we met.

Thirteen years ago Nathan had just started at Comcast and he and Jeremy ended up at a training session in Danville.  They struck up a pretty fast friendship and as we were set to come home, Nathan’s truck caught on fire.  Being so far from home we didn’t know anyone or what to do, so he called Jeremy.  Most 22 year-olds who’d been away for a week would not bother to help a new acquaintance, but Jeremy turned around and came to help.  He spent hours finding parts, working on the truck, driving us to find a mechanic, and just waiting with us until he knew we would be okay.  It was a remarkable testament to his compassion and upbringing; that at such a young age he chose to help virtual strangers and we will forever be thankful.

My condolences and prayers to the Cason family. While I have only worked with Jeremy for a year, he was always an extremely friendly, dedicated, and team oriented guy. He was very passionate about his work and provided help to everyone around him.  Jeremy will be missed but never forgotten. May his soul rest in peace. 

Jeremy was my very first love. I don't have a single memory throughout my adolescent and teenage years that doesn't include Jeremy. We were joined at the hip for years. I couldn't have asked for a better first boyfriend. He was kind, he was compassionate and understanding. He was loyal and fiercely protective. Even my parents knew that when I was with him, I was in good hands. After all of these years I remember his smile the most. It was infectious. I have so many good memories to cherish and I'm so thankful for that. I wouldn't be the woman I am today without him. 

Jerry, Glenna and family - my heart breaks for your loss. I pray you find comfort and healing and are at peace knowing you raised an incredible son. Thank you for sharing him with me during my teenage years. I'll always be grateful to you all.

It is my hope and prayer that the family and friends of the Cason family cling to the hope of Christ.  He is the balm of grief, the shoulder of sorrow, the Light that shines when all other lights have faded.  In Him, all the wounds are healed - however long that takes. 
 My heart aches for Jerry, Glenna, Paisley, Mike and family.  I pray that your hurt is kept in perspective to the hope offered from a loving Father.  Jeremy will be missed - I'm grateful to have known him.

Jeremy was a joy to be around and worked very hard in his job at WWRC.  He was also a great friend to my family.  I hope and pray that God's almighty hands will comfort his family and ease their suffering in the days ahead and grant Jeremy eternal peace as he rests from his early labors. 



I only worked with Jeremy for a bit over a year but during that time I always appreciated his expertise in his field. I knew I could count on him to help me resolve some of the more challenging computer issues.  I remember when we were having a Zoom meeting how it was his turn to give a report and the first thing he did was comment about all my hats on the shelf.  I remember him often speaking of his daughter and it always made me smile knowing how much he loved her. To me, Jeremy was cool, he was someone you wanted to hang around with. After leaving WWRC, I considered Jeremy among the people I would want to see and work with again.  I know I will see Jeremy again someday because he often spoke about his faith as well. Not even death can separate him from the love of God in Christ Jesus.  To Jeremy’s family, you have my deepest sympathies and my prayers. Jeremy was truly loved by those who knew him.  I will miss him. 

Glenna and Jerry, I don't even know where to begin.   I cannot even begin to know how this is affecting you.  My heart breaks for you.  My heart has broken into a million pieces and I feel every crack.  Your pain must be insurmountable.  You raised a fine young man who stood up for what he believed in.  And he stood that ground.  He didn't back down.   His smile was infectious and you couldn't help but smile back.  Paisley got that smile.  I always knew it was possible to love another one's child as if your own but didn't know what it felt like until Jeremy entered my life.  He was the son I didn't have but the love was there.  Thank you for allowing me the opportunity to be a part of his life.   We will be praying for strength for you and the whole family.

Jeremy was a kind hearted and gentle person. He was always asking questions on how to help others. He always placed the students and staff at WWRC first and helped all of us through any IT concerns. He was tactful, skillful, and a caring person. He will be missed tremendously! 

Such a sweet and caring young man.  Although he struggled with life's challenges, he always took time to look out for others.  The WWRC community has lost a friend and co-worker.  I pray for comfort and blessings for his daughter and family.  

Jeremy was the kindest “tech man” to have take care of every problem we all made. His smile was contagious and he always laughed at computer things that I didn’t understand. I appreciated his gym motivation and he challenged me to reach my fitness goals while I worked at WWRC. I also had the pleasure of having lunch with him on occasion when I made extra. He was always willing to take a walk to talk to a friend. Thinking about all of you and praying for your healing.
