Joyce Ellis Robertson

She was born January 27, 1937, a daughter of the late Chaffin and Alma Foster Ellis.

She attended Aero Drive Church of God, and for forty-four years was co-owner with her husband of the Country Store in Lyndhurst.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Jack Ellis.

Survivors include her loving supportive husband, James L. “Sonny” Robertson; daughter, Karen L. Robertson of Waynesboro; son, Douglas B. Robertson of Lyndhurst; sister, Iris “Sis” Mawyer of Lyndhurst; “daughter”, Judy Langley of Lyndhurst; grandchildren; Jennifer Hall and husband, Josh Ryan of Stuarts Draft and Josh Robertson of Lyndhurst; great-grandchildren, Dylan and Tristan Hall.

A service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, June 14, 2017 at the Waynesboro Chapel of Reynolds Hamrick Funeral Homes with Pastor Eldon Brydge officiating. Burial will follow in Augusta Memorial Park.

Active pallbearers will be Darrell Landram, Derek Hall, Jeff Hall, Clinton Knicely, Tony Golladay and Harold “Bucky” Cox, Jr.

Honorary pallbearers will be family and friends attending the service.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday, June 13, 2017 at the funeral home.
