Kathleen Fitzgerald Weaver

Born August 17, 1940 in Virginia, she was a daughter of the late Clemmer and Mary (Taylor) Fitzgerald.

Prior to retirement, Kathleen was employed by Augusta Health where she worked as a central supply technician. She was an avid reader and a lover of all animals, especially her dogs. She will be remembered as a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, aunt and friend.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Walter Weaver; daughter, Joyce Tolleson; sisters, Clara Molosky and Anne Adolphson; and brother, Lewis Fitzgerald.

Survivors include her four children, Kenneth “Kenny” Megginson of Waynesboro, James “Jimmy” Megginson and wife, Roxie, of Fishersville, Judith “Judy” Deavers and husband, Robert, of Crimora, and Trudy Wood and husband, Alan, of Waynesboro; six grandchildren, Kenneth Megginson, Jr., Samantha Clark, Caleb and Seth Megginson, Aaron Pollard, and Amanda Morelli; eight great-grandchildren; and a number of nieces and nephews.

Following cremation, all services will be held privately.
