Nicholas "Nick" Dean Lowery

Nicholas Dean “Nick” Lowery, 28, of Stuarts Draft, went to be with his Lord and Savior on March 9, 2019. He was born in Waynesboro on September 10, 1990, the son of Arlena Nichols Lowery and Russell Lowery. Nick attended Stuarts Draft High School where he excelled in both football and baseball. As an avid outdoorsman, he enjoyed hunting and fishing. Nick loved spending time with his family and was most importantly known as a loving father, brother, son, and friend to all. He was most recently employed by Hershey of Stuart Draft and in earlier years at Target Distribution. Nick was preceded in death by Johnnie Calvin Lowery, Charlene Mae Lowery, Henry Frazier Nichols, and Chad Anthony Mays. In addition to his parents, he is survived by the mother of his children, Yolanda Holt; children, Aidean Christian Lowery and Aryian Bryson Cole Lowery; special friend, Chrissy Agee and children, Riley Watts and Addisyn Johnson; twin brother, Jonathan Lowery; sisters, Ryan Lowery and Amanda Lowery; as well as numerous extended family and friends. A celebration of life service will be conducted at 3:00 p.m. on Thursday, March 14, 2019 at Mountain View Mennonite Church, 55 Love Rd, Lyndhurst, VA, with Pastors Earl Monroe and Chuck Balsamo officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Active pallbearers will be Russell Lowery, Jonathan Lowery, Ricky Lowery, Franky Lowery, Dustin Fitzgerald, Aaron Ramsey, Josh Weaver and Matt Weaver. Honorary pallbearers will be Seth Hatter, Makenna Lowery, Joshua Hutchinson, Aiden Lowery, Skyler Hutchinson and Courtney Lucas. The family will receive friends from 1:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m. at the church prior to services. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to a savings account in Nick’s children’s names at City National Bank in Stuarts Draft.
