Paula Sue (Crissman) Coleman

Paula was born in Harrisonburg, Va to (Paul and Suellen Crissman of Crimora, VA on December 12, 1955. She went to school at Wilson Memorial High School. She married Tony Coleman on August 15th, 1998. She worked as a Floor Coordinator for UVA ICU for numerous years. She was a member of Forest Chapel Church of the Brethren. She had a great heart, loved her grandkids and family, loved to read her books and play board games.

Paula is preceded in death by her father Paul Crissman; a son, Bobby Whitmore; and a granddaughter, Brielle Acker.

Paula is survived by her husband, Tony Coleman of Stuarts Draft; son, Paul Acker and wife, Tonya, of Crimora; son, Scott Acker of Crimora; mom, Suellen Crissman; brother, Irby Crissman and wife, Sheri; sister, Pam Marshall and husband, Rick; brother, Robbie Crissman and wife, Reta; sister, Penni Walker and husband, Kelly; four grandchildren, Lucas Acker, Camden Acker, Tristan Acker and Penelope Acker; mother-in-law, Kathy Dalton; and many nieces and nephews.

Following cremation, a service will be held on Saturday, November 15th at 11 a.m. at Forest Chapel Church of the Brethren in Crimora, with a meal following the service in the church’s social hall after.
