Born on August 9, 1955 in Delaware, he was the son of the late Sidney Erwin and Patricia (Riggs) Blackburn.
He was a United States Army Veteran and retired as a receiving manager for various businesses.
Survivors include his wife, Dawn Blackburn; sons, Roger Seger, Jr., Timothy Seger; daughters, Laurie Rutkowski, Christine Blackburn, Kelly Good, Krystal Taylor; siblings, Clifton Ray Blackburn, Ronnie Edward Blackburn, Della “Sue” Gentry, Katherine Ann Kerr, Nancy Carol Merriott, and 17 grandchildren.
Following cremation, a celebration of his life will be celebrated at his home at 1:00 p.m. on August 10, 2019.
