Born on February 20th, 1933, a son of the late Robley Mosby Perrow II and Selene Coates Perrow.
Robley was born in Lynchburg, VA and lived in Radford, VA, Richmond, VA, Pennsylvania, and Georgia. He graduated from Radford High School in Radford, VA (Class of 1951). Robley married Betty Jo Stafford on July 24, 1951, in Conway, SC. He went to Virginia Tech and completed 3 years of college. He went to the Graduate School of Credit and Financial Management at Dartmouth College and received an Executive award. Robley worked as a Credit & Financial Manager for Reynolds Metal Co. for 30 years in Richmond, VA, Atlanta, GA, and Philadelphia, PA. Between schooling and work, Robley built and supported his family, was an active member in churches, was a faithful member to the Presbyterian church, and a faithful servant to the Lord. Robley was a family man who loved to take his children on scenic trips, was active in the outdoors, and always sought adventure in life. He had the best sense of humor, he always knew what advice to give, and knew what to say to put a smile on your face.
Robley was a member of the Free Masons and Shriners organizations. Robley was an Associate and Fellow of the National Institute of Credit. Robley was an Elder in several Presbyterian churches he was a member of in Pennsylvania, Georgia, and Virginia. Robley also sang in sanctuary and men's church choirs of which he was a member. He was a member of the Homebuilders Sunday school class at Tinkling Springs Presbyterian Church.
In addition to his parents, Robley is preceded in death by his son Robley Mosby Perrow IV, and daughter Catherine Susan Perrow.
Robley Mosby Perrow III is survived by his loving wife Betty S. Perrow of Fishersville; three children, James S. Perrow and wife, Undra of Manchester, TN; Cheryl L. Loaiza of Stuarts Draft; and Austine Brook Belsky and husband Chris, of Stuarts Draft; Robley’s brother Ferdinand Alexander Perrow and wife, Sharon of Ocala, FL; three grandchildren, Dustin Andrew McDaniel and wife, Andrea of Middle River, MD; Kelly J. Willoughby and husband, Todd of Lilburn, GA; Thalia M. Loaiza of Stuarts Draft, VA, and three great-grandchildren, Isinovy Jr. Calvo, Lorenz Calvo, and Trinity Calvo; and a number of nieces and nephews.
A memorial service for Robley Mosby Perrow III will be held on Saturday, February 11, 2023, at 11:00 a.m. at Tinkling Springs Presbyterian Church in Fishersville, VA with Pastor Patrick Ryan officiating.
