Ronald Wayne Fisher, 66, of 300 James Ave., passed away unexpectedly Saturday, November 3, 2012.
He was born October 7, 1946 in Waynesboro, the son of the late Thomas Austin and Mary Austin Wade Fisher.
He retired from Kroger of Waynesboro.
Survivors include his wife Hilda Fisher, his three children; Renea Verdi and husband Joe of New York, a son, Troy Fisher of Waynesboro and Tahnee Knicely and husband Billy of Waynesboro, a brother; Donnie Fisher of Waynesboro, two sisters; Brenda Fitzgerald and husband Ricky of Lyndhurst, Debra Huffman and husband Hunter of Waynesboro, five grandchildren; Bron Moore, Ryan Moore, Zack Fisher, Tyler Knicely and Payton Knicely.
He also leaves his special canine companion, Holly Berry.
He was loved by all that knew him and made many special friends during his lifetime.
At his request his body will be cremated and there will be no services.
The family will receive friends from 6-8:00 p.m. Wednesday, November 7, 2012 at the Waynesboro Chapel of Reynolds Hamrick Funeral Homes.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association, 3025 Berkmar Drive, #7, Charlottesville, VA 22901.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the Waynesboro Chapel of Reynolds Hamrick Funeral Homes and Crematory.
