

Thelma was a member of Rodes United Methodist Church. Her passion in life was to serve people, and she did that through her love of cooking. She loved taking care of and spending time with her great grandchildren and the rest of her family.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sisters, Gertrude Hite and Gladys Critzer and her brother, Homer Henderson. Survivors include her loving husband of 66 years, Ray A. Fox; son, Garry Fox, and his wife Patty; granddaughter, Kimi Fox, grandson, Darrin Fox and his fiancée, Heather Basmajian; great granddaughters, Alina Fox and her fiancé, Chris Van Oostrom, Autumn Fox; great grandson, Greyson Fox; four sisters, Lilly Keffer, Estelle Thompson and her husband, Mitch, Doris Burch and her husband, Richard, and Alice Gough and her husband, Russell; four brothers, Fulton Henderson, Clarence Henderson, Wilson Henderson and his wife, Nancy, and Charles P. Henderson and his wife, Mary; as well as many nieces and nephews.
The family would like to express a heartfelt thank you to the staff at Augusta Health for all the tender care of Thelma during her time there.
A funeral service will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. Monday, March 23, 2015 at Reynolds Hamrick Funeral Homes in Waynesboro with Pastor Bubba Creedle officiating. Burial to follow at Rodes United Methodist Church Cemetery.
Pallbearers included Darrin Fox, Chris Van Oostrom, Frankie Henderson, Bobby Fox, Billy Creedle, Randy Keffer, David Thompson, Dennis Critzer, and Jason Critzer.
Family will receive friends on Sunday, March 22, 2015 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Reynolds Hamrick Funeral Homes in Waynesboro. Family also invites friends to visit at Garry and Patty’s residence, 1528 Allison Ave., Waynesboro.
