Timothy Allen Meadows, Sr.

Born September 16, 1960 in Harrisonburg, he was the son of Larry D. and Carolyn (Shifflett) Meadows. On May 16, 1981 he married the love of his life and best friend, Katrina (Kerby) Meadows. The two shared a blessed union of 34 years together.

Timothy was employed by Terex Corporation in Richmond where he worked as a Division Manager. He was a member of Beulah Baptist Church, Kents Store. His greatest joy in life was spending time with his grandchildren. An avid outdoorsmen, he enjoyed hunting and fishing.

In addition to his parents and his loving wife, survivors include his children, Timothy Allen Meadows, Jr. and wife, Christie of Goochland and Amanda Marie Meadows of Stuarts Draft; grandchildren, Dakota Allen Meadows, Grayson Aleks Meadows, Jocelynn Minji Meadows, Kendall Asher Meadows-Diggs and Cullen Taeyoung Meadows; siblings, Denny Meadows of Stuarts Draft, Debbie Meadows of Crimora, Brian Meadows of Stuarts Draft and Michael Meadows of Stuarts Draft; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Emmett and Helen Kerby of Waynesboro; sister-in-law, Becky Deaver and husband, Robert of Waynesboro; special friends, Russell Headley, Jay Nicely, Greg Meadows, Bernie Elmore, Chris Dillow, Aleks Kupcis and Jay Kaiser; the players of “Those Guys” Softball Team; as well as a number of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, March 5, 2016 at Smyrna Presbyterian Church with Pastor Jason Taylor officiating. The family will receive friends following the service at the church.
