Born on December 11th, 1949, a son of the late Willard Kenneth Smith Sr and Bonnie May (Brown) Smith.
Willard worked for many years as a welder and also had experience in well drilling.
He is proceeded in death by his parents, Willard and Bonnie Smith; a son, Robert Smith; and a brother, Mike Smith.
Willard is survived by his son, Willard “Kenny” Smith III; two daughters, Alison Kay Smith of Monterey, and Candy Smith of Hermitage; a brother, Johnny Lawhorn of Waynesboro; two sisters, Brenda Lawhorn of Waynesboro, and Ann Smith of Fredericksburg; as well as numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Following cremation, a Celebration of Life will be conducted by the family at a later date.
