She was born November 28, 1933 in Fairview, WV, a daughter of the late Samuel T. and Ellen Marie Brewer Lough.

Alberta was a graduate of Fairview High School.

She was a homemaker.

On December 19, 1956 she married Charles Robert Harris, who died October 26, 2013.

Surviving are children, Sue Ann Lough of Fairview, WV, Walter (Prudence) Harris of North Carolina, Gary (Kim) Harris of Waynesburg, Delores Toland of Waynesburg, Patty Harris of Sacramento, CA, Linda (Jerry Conard) Morris of Nemacolin; a daughter-in-law, Marcella Harris of Waynesburg; eight grandchildren; five great grandchildren; a great-great granddaughter; two siblings, Jesse Lough of Pensacola, FL, and Edna Toothman of Fairview, WV; and several nieces and nephews.

Deceased is a son, Donald Harris; two son-in-laws, Richard Morris and Thomas Toland; and eight siblings.
