Anna Mary Conner passed on March 18, 2026, at the age of 71. She was born on August 5, 1954, in Waynesburg, Pennsylvania, a daughter of the late Matthew Brumley and Jean Joseph Brumley. Anna was a lifelong resident of Greene County and was a member of First Baptist Church in Waynesburg.
Anna worked as a nurse for the Washington Hospital for over 50 years, retiring in 2024.
She was preceded in death by her husband John Conner who died on March 14, 2016.
Surviving are 1 Son: Michael Phillips of Waynesburg, PA, 6 Grandchildren, 5 Great-Grandchildren, 2 Sisters: Debra Sergi of Erie, PA, Missy Freeman of Ohio, 2 Brothers: Matthew Brumley and Jim Brumley, both of Waynesburg, PA and several nieces and nephews.
Deceased are 1 Son- Robert Phillips and 1 Brother- Richard Brumley
Visitation will be held from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM on Monday, March 23, 2026 in the Milliken and Throckmorton Funeral Home, Inc. 197 N. Maiden St., Waynesburg, PA 15370 Shane M. Ayers, Managing Director with her funeral service being held at 1:00 PM with Rev. Dr. David Bess officiating. Burial will be at Mount Pleasant Cemetery, Waynesburg, PA 15370.
