Helen F. Harkins

She was born November 20, 1930 in Chicago, IL to Joseph and Mary Blank.

Her husband Charles W. Harkins passed away in 1993.

Surviving are two daughters, Barbara (Pat) Wise of Waynesburg and Beverly (Ray) Skwarek of Richland, Washington; one son, Charles “Bill” Harkins of Washington, PA; six grandchildren, Stephanie (Kevin) Linken, Laura Harkins, Amanda (Derek) Bochna, Ryan (Ashley) Wise, Matthew (Jennifer) Jusino and Lacy Skwarek; and two great-grandchildren, Railey and Logan Bochna; two step grandchildren, Megan Martin and Laura Skwarek; and a step-great-grandson, Philip Belcher.

She was one of nine children, surviving are two sisters, Barbara Bierwirth of Olathe, KS and Linda (Bruce) Meeks of Cumberland, MD.

Deceased is a son Bradley J. Harkins.

Mrs. Harkins was a member of St. Ann Catholic Church in Waynesburg.

She was a homemaker and had worked at Greenway Manufacturing Company.

She loved playing bingo and especially loved spending time with her family. She will be greatly missed.

Friends and family will be received on from 4:00 to 6:00 pm Monday, December 9 at Behm Funeral Homes Inc., 182 West High St., Waynesburg, with a prayer service to follow with Rev. Richard J.
