James E. Menear Jr.

He was born Monday, June 20, 1955 in Morgantown,WV a son of the late James E. Menear and Verna Rowan Menear.

Mr. Menear was a lifelong resident of Greene County. He was Christian by faith. He really loved spending time with his family, being on the farm and working the land. He raised and showed horses all of his life and loved playing the guitar. He spent most of his working years as a coal miner and a farmer. His Wife: Pamela McCracken Menear whom he married on March 21, 1977 survives. Also surviving are his 3 Children: Travis Menear of Charlotte, NC, Tawnya Payha and Michael Inks of Greensburg, PA and Tim Eddy of Mt. Morris, PA. 5 Grandchildren: Haden Eddy, Meghan Eddy, Anna Kate Payha, Abby Payha and Kelcee Rupert. 2 Sisters: Marjorie and Floyd Wolfe of Mt.Morris, PA and Alice and Bob Perry of Bobtown, PA and 1 Brother: Steve Menear of Bradenton, FL and several nieces and nephews.

Visitation and services are to be Private and held at the convenience of the family at the Milliken and Throckmorton FH,Inc. Daryl L. Throckmorton Owner/Director,324 Mt. Morris Road, P.O. Box 478 Mount Morris, PA 15349 Private burial will be in Cedar Grove Cemetery, Mt. Morris, PA.
