

She was born April 20, 1925 in Holbrook, a daughter of the late Jesse and Lydia Galloway Anderson.
She was married to James Pester who died in 1977.
Mrs. Pester worked at the Waynesburg Restaurant for 28 years. She was a lifetime resident of Waynesburg where she was a member of the First Church of the Nazarene.
Surviving are a daughter Mary Pester of Waynesburg, with whom she made her home; a son, James Pester Jr. of Waynesburg; 4 grandchildren, Patrick Kelley, Debbie Pester, Amy Smith, and Ethan Smith; five great-grandchildren; and one brother Willis Anderson of North Carolina.
Deceased are a daughter, Diane Kelley, 7 brothers, Orville, John, Ross, Perry, Henry, Allen, and Elmer Anderson; 4 sisters, Lucretia Poland, Mary Iams, Elizabeth Loucks, and Fannie Anderson.
