She was born on September 1, 1945 to the late James and Arabell Moon. She grew up in Mather and attended Jefferson High School. She enjoyed being with her daughters, grandchildren, and her dogs, traveling when she was able, working in her flower beds, gardening, flea markets, and reading horror books. She was a very kind person and loved talking to anybody.
She is survived by her daughters, Bridget A. Vernon (Michael Smith), Shilo Brock (Curtis), and Taraha Shimek (Brett); 6 grandchildren, Tyler Smith, Drake Watters, Braden Brock, Spencer Brock, and Bailee Shimek.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her siblings, Naomi Tenney, Joan Cain, George Moon, Harold Moon, Floyd Moon, and infant brother; and grandson, Landen Watters.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
