Nina Ruth Adams

She was born Friday, March 08, 1940 in Morgantown, WV. A daughter of the late Garvey "Shorty" Truman Harvey and Ruth "Boots" Moon Harvey.

Mrs. Adams was a member of the Mt. Morris Gospel Tabernacle Assembly of God, where she had served as a Sunday School Teacher and helped lead worship. She was a member of the Red Hat Society in Mt. Morris and the Central Greene Retired Teachers Association. Nina loved to be on the go and travel. She was a devoted NaNal to her 7 grandchildren. She worked for 31 years as a cook for Central Greene School District finishing her career at the Perry Elementary School. Nina considered all the students as her Perry Twp. family.

Nina's family would like to thank Amedisys Hospice for the help and care given to their Mother during her illness.

Her Husband: Robert Dale Adams whom she married on June 11, 1955 died April 17, 2015.

Surviving are 1 Daughter: Beverly McIntire and her husband John, of Mt. Morris, PA., 2 Sons: Rev. Joseph Adams and his wife Blenda J. of Leesburg, VA., and John R. Adams and his wife Terri of Morgantown, WV., 7 Grandchildren: Jamie Pack and her husband Clint, Kelly Casto and her husband Bristin, Zachary Adams, Matthew Adams and his wife Kara, Luke Adams and his wife Angela, Jordan Adams, and Ryan Adams, 4 Great Grandchildren: Lincoln Pack, Shelby Pack, Grant Pack, and Lane Casto, 1 Sister: Betty Kiger, of Mt. Morris, PA., 1 Brother: William R. "Butch" Harvey, of Akron, OH., Her Step-Sister: Joann Herrington of Mt. Morris, PA., and Her Step-Mother: Virginia Harvey of Mt. Morris, PA. and several nieces and nephews.

Deceased are 1 Brother: Duane Harvey

Friends will be received from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Thursday, January 30, 2020 in the Milliken and Throckmorton FH,Inc. Daryl L. Throckmorton Owner/Director,324 Mt. Morris Road, P.O. Box 478 Mount Morris, PA 15349. There will be additional visitation on Friday, January 31, 2020 at the Mt.Morris Gospel Tabernacle Assembly of God 103 School Road Mt. Morris, PA 15349 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM the time of the service with Pastor Tim Shuttlesworth officiating. Burial will be in Cedar Grove Cemetery, Mt. Morris, PA.
