Norma T. Bell

Norma T. Bell, 100, of Summerfield, FL formerly of Waynesburg, PA passed away on Sunday, January 26, 2025. Norma was born August 26, 1924 in Masontown, PA, a daughter of the late Edwin J. Taylor and Esther B. Taylor. Norma was a member of the First Presbyterian Church in Waynesburg, PA. She was a proud member of the Greene Academy Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution. Norma had served as President of the Cornerstone Genealogical Society, was a former member of the First Presbyterian Choir, a member of the Social Service League and volunteered with the American Red Cross for blood drives. Norma was a 1942 graduate of Masontown High School and a 1944 graduate of West Penn Hospital School of Nursing. She began her career at Greene County Memorial Hospital, and was also a homemaker. Her Husband: Robert William Bell, whom she married on April 14, 1946 died September 1, 2011. Surviving are 1 Daughter: Linda L. Bell of North Strabane Township, PA, 1 Son: Robert N. Bell and wife Michele of Shadyside, OH, 6 Grandchildren: Michael Bell, Andrew Bell, Neal (Marybeth) Bell, Hilary (Ean) Rizor, Ashley (Zachary) Lemoine, Allison (Kyle) Ourso, 9 Great-Grandchildren: Camryne, Rosa, Macklin, Oakley, Sutton, Meadow, Juliet, Camden and Keller Lynn. Deceased: 1 Son- Richard T. Bell, 1 Sister-Donna B. Peters, 2 Brothers- Edwin J. Taylor and William B. Taylor. Visitation will be held from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM on Friday, January 31, 2025 in the Milliken and Throckmorton Funeral Home, Inc. 197 N. Maiden St., Waynesburg, PA 15370 Shane M. Ayers, Director with her funeral service being held at 1:00 PM with Rev. David Demarest officiating. Norma will be laid to rest in Greene Mount Cemetery, Waynesburg, PA.
